May 31, 1998 Tornado Outbreak

The following shows a tornadic storm over the eastern sections of Broome county. The image shows Base Reflectivity on the left side at 0.5 and 1.5 degree elevation. The right side shows Storm Relative Motion at 0.5 and 1.5 degree elevation.



The tornado reached its maximum strength, F3 intensity producing winds between 158 and 206 MPH, over the town of Deposit at approximately 630 PM EDT.
