This is a mosaic of National Weather Service radars across parts of the northeast. The loop is comprised of 40 images, each image is
a snapshot of precipitation near the top of each hour. Because of the amount of images, it may take a minute or so (depending on your
internet connection) for the loop to load and start. You will need Java installed to view the loop.
These images show a large area precipitation moving northward along the eastern section of the country. Around 8 PM EDT or 0008 UTC, the
precipitation starts to move out of eastern New York and northwest winds bring lake effect snow bands across parts of New York and
