Radar reflectivity 10/25 16z.
This radar image shows bands of heavy precipitation setting up across southern NY and northern Pennsylvania at 16z on the 25th. Some of the highest reflectivity on this image is likely due to melting snowflakes, which are highly reflective. However, surface reports also indicated that some very heavy precipitation was falling. By 16z, reports indicated heavy snow beginning to accumulate at higher elevations (mainly above 1400 feet) over Bradford County, Pennsylvania, and Broome and Chenango Counties NY.
