Clouds, along with scattered light showers and sprinkles over central New York will give way to increasing amounts of sunshine later this afternoon as high pressure builds across the area. Northwest winds will gust to 25 mph at times. Clear, cool weather will occur tonight, followed by sunny weather on Sunday as the high crests over the Mid-Atlantic states. Temperatures will remain below normal for early July through early next week.
