Lake Ontario ice cover Mar 19th, 2001

This image was taken at 9:15AM on March 19th.  As you can see, there is very little ice cover on Lake Ontario.  In fact the only significant ice is over the northeast corner of the lake, around the entrance to the St. Lawrence River. By the way, ice-covered Oneida Lake is apparent down toward the lower right corner of the image.
