GOES visible satellite imagery 11/14 - 11/15 2000

112:31 Pm 11/15/00

Visible satellite images taken Tuesday and Wednesday November 14th and 15th.  On the image at the left you can make out a snowband that extends up the length of Lake Erie.  The taller convective clouds show up just a bit brighter than the rest of the cloud shield.  The image on the right shows the cloudbands after the wind has shifted to a WNW direction.  The cloudband off Lake Ontario most likely has a connection to activity that has developed upwind off Georgian Bay.
