Sat Nov 18th at 1500 UTC - Band develops south of Buffalo off Lake Erie and along Lake Ontario on a westerly wind.

 

Sat Nov 18th at 1900 UTC - By mid-afternoon the band begins to drift northward as winds back to a more southwest direction.   However...the band does not re-orient itself to a southwest direction.  Note...it is drifting north 
Sun Nov 19th at 00 UTC - At this point the band has reached its farthest point north as winds are SSW across the region.  You can make out the west end of the Ontario band here as well.
Sun Nov 19th at 03 UTC - As the night wears on, the winds once again turn to a more westerly direction and the band begins to migrate south across the city of Buffalo for a second time. 

Forecasting at this scale is not easy!
