Snowcover from Andromeda

This image was taken the day after the storm and clearly shows the snowcover east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.  You can even pick out Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York State from this image.  That's not bad from a satellite that's 23,000 miles in space!

Montague Radar Imagery

WSR-88D radar image taken from the Montague radar at 1715GMT on Saturday, Novemebr 21st. The most intense activity was located over northern Oswego county and matches up pretty well with the observed snowcover from satellite the next day.
