Every year the National Weather Service designates certain weeks
as Awareness Weeks. Public Information Statements about a specific
weather topic are then published across the nation.
The five topics covered in recent years are Flood, Lightning, Severe
Weather, Hurricaine, and Winter Weather. WFO Caribou's latest set
