A widespread severe weather outbreak occurred during the afternoon and evening of the 26th of July. Many locations across Central Pennsylvania had trees knocked down by thunderstom wind gusts.
The main severe signatures that day were bow echoes with high velocities. Little rotation was seen in most of these storms. As a result, no tornadoes occurred.
