Weak low pressure moves north of the forecast area Monday night, followed by a trailing cold front early Tuesday morning. The front moves offshore Tuesday afternoon. The remains of ida move up the eastern seaboard Tuesday night and stall off the Mid-Atlantic Coast as a ridge of high pressure stalls across northern New England through the rest of the workweek into early next weekend.
