Each column have a specific definition.  These column definitions are provided below for your use.

Column Descriptions

OLD CCC.  NWS offices call this the NODE.  It is only useful for NWS offices.

OLD NNN: This is the 'Category Indicator' or 'NNN'  of the product. It makes up part of a AWIPS Identifier.

OLD XXX: This makes up part of a AWIPS Identifier as are being used before the transition date. 

OLD TTAA, OLD ii, + OLD CCCC (Pre-Transition WMO): WMO header including 'CCCC' being used before the transition date.

ACTION:  Denotes what, if anything, is changing with the product identifiers. The possibilities are:

• CHANGE TO: changes are taking place with all or parts of the WMO header
• ADD:  Additions are being made to the NWS Data Stream.
• DELETE:  Deletions are being made because the product is obsolete and is no longer required.

NEW CCC.  NWS offices call this the NODE.  It is only useful for NWS offices.

File Example

The NWS Product RDUABVGSO with Pre-transition WMO Header UFUS41 is changing to RDUABVGSO with End-State WMO Header UFUS42
