With an anticipated 80 million boaters on the water this summer, only 
27 percent of these boaters will be wearing  life jackets.  Life jackets 
can determine life or death in many boating accidents.  Approximately 
700 people die in boating related accidents with nine out of every ten 
victims NOT wearing a life jacket.
