This damage was determined to be from a
microburst over eastern Robertson County. Wind gusts were
estimated between 80 and 85 mph, comparable to an
EF0 tornado.
Safety Note: Poorly constructed structures such as barns and
outhouses are not safe places to be in a tornado or severe thunderstorm. As seen here,
their lack of interior walls make them susceptible to collapse, which
can lead to serious injury or death. When a warning is
issued, move to a sturdy building with a basement or small enclosed
rooms. |
