Additional notes
|
A strong line of thunderstorms moved across the
Miami Valley during the early morning hours of February 6. This
line was associated with a widespread severe weather outbreak which
killed more than 50 people in Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky.
While winds around 60 mph usually will not uproot healthy large trees,
the very wet soil likely made it easier to topple trees in this
situation.
