Additional notes
Southern Ohio continues to be plagued with
much-below average rainfall for most of 2007. Currently, the
U.S. Drought
Monitor has classified much of Ohio as D1, or moderate drought.
Portions of far southern Ohio, including much of Brown County, have been
classified as D2, or severe drought. D2 conditions extend
southward throughout all of eastern Kentucky.
