The damage in this photo shows strong
EF2
or weak
EF3
damage. Generally winds of 120 to 135 mph will completely
remove the roof of a well-built home, leaving only the interior walls
standing.
This tornado tracked nearly parallel to the devastating tornado which
tore across Xenia in 1974. Heavier damage elsewhere led to this
tornado being rated an
F4 on the old Fujita scale.
