Safety Note: It is critical that all schools have a tornado safety plan in place, and that it be practiced so that are students and faculty can be moved to a safe area in just a few minutes.  Move to an interior hallway on the lowest level of the building, keeping sure everyone is away from windows.  Avoid large gymnasiums, auditoriums and cafeterias at all costs, since these structures may easily collapse, even in a weak tornado.
