Widespread rains of 4 to 6 inches fell over
Auglaize County February 5 and 6 of 2008, leading to widespread flooding and
numerous high water evacuations. Both the St. Marys and Auglaize
rivers went significantly out of their banks which led to a state of
emergency declaration for Auglaize County.
The flooding here was caused by the Auglaize River going out of its
banks in Wapakoneta.
