This damage was determined to be from a
microburst over eastern Robertson County. Wind gusts were
estimated between 80 and 85 mph, comparable to an
EF0 tornado.
Safety Note: High winds can topple or snap large trees, which can
seriously injure or kill a person. Large trees can also fall on
homes and injure people inside. When a severe thunderstorm warning
is issued, move indoors and away from any large trees (such as an
interior room). |
