...SUMMARY...

A GROUND SURVEY CONDUCTED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...TOGETHER 
WITH RADAR AND EYEWITNESS REPORTS DETERMINED THAT AN EF-1 TORNADO 
TRACKED OVER A RURAL AREA NEAR LINVILLE VIRGINIA. OVER A TRACK THAT 
WAS NEARLY A MILE LONG...THE TORNADO UPROOTED AND SNAPPED NUMEROUS 
LARGE TREES ALONG A HORSE FARM AND SURROUNDING AREA. THE TORNADO 
CROSSED IRISH PATH... INDIAN RIDGE LANE... AND MELROSE ROAD.
