This parameter is forecast for all 7 days. The probability of precipitation is for a 12-hour period ending at 6am or 6pm local time. It indicates the chance that precipitation will occur at any given point during the 12 hour period. It can be a chance, as listed on the left in the table below, or an areal coverage, as shown at right in the table below.
