AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS ALONG THE GULF COAST TODAY...
RADIATING MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE MID ATLANTIC. CONTINUOUS 
RAINFALL WILL GENERALLY BE SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 460 AND MAINLY EAST 
OF THE BLUE RIDGE...WITH WETTING RAINFALL CHANCES DIMINISHING 
FURTHER NORTH AND WEST. UP TO A HALF INCH RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED 
ACROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA PIEDMONT...WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS WITHERING 
TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS NEAR HIGHWAY 460. RAINFALL WILL GRADUALLY 
EXIT TO THE EAST DURING TONIGHT...WITH CLEARING CONDITIONS FOR 
SUNDAY. COOL HIGH PRESSURE WILL OTHERWISE MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE 
WEATHER PATTERN INTO EARLY MONDAY.
