FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SW VA...SE WV AND NW NC
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BLACKSBURG VA
943 AM EDT SUN MAY 24 2015

.DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE BOTH SURFACE AND ALOFT WILL REMAIN OVER THE EASTERN
UNITED STATES THROUGH MONDAY. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT MAINLY DRY
WEATHER WILL PREVAIL FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND
WITH TEMPERATURE TRENDING WARMER.

SOUTHERLY WIND FLOW WILL BEGIN TO BRING MOISTURE INTO THE AREA
DURING THE WEEK...DEWPOINTS TRENDING HIGHER. THIS INCREASE
IN HUMIDITY WILL THEN PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF WIDELY
SCATTERED AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
