1.  Introduction

The active severe weather season in the Spring of 2006 continued during 
the second weekend of June with a three-day episode of severe thunderstorms 
beginning on the evening of the 10th and continuing during the afternoon 
and evening of the 11th and 12th.  The National Weather Service in Greer,
South Carolina (GSP), issued seven Severe Thunderstorm Warnings on 10 June,
25 Warnings on 11 June, and 17 more on 12 June.
