...SUMMARY...

TORNADIC WIND DAMAGE WAS INITIALLY OBSERVED ABOUT 3 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF JONESVILLE WITHIN THE PROCTOR AND ZIG ZAG ROAD AREAS WHERE SEVERAL
TREES WERE UPROOTED AND SNAPPED...A FENCE WAS BLOWN OVER AND VARIOUS
OUTDOOR OBJECTS...SUCH AS A TRAMPOLINE AND SWING SETS WERE DISPLACED. 
WIND DAMAGE CONTINUED EASTWARD...ALONG AND SOUTH OF T BISHOP ROAD...
WHERE 50 TO 100 TREES WERE UPROOTED AND SNAPPED. A SINGLE WIDE 
MOBILE HOME WAS DESTROYED AND ANOTHER HEAVILY DAMAGED ALONG T BISHOP
ROAD.

AN INTERMITTENT DAMAGE PATH CONTINUED EASTWARD WITH CONCENTRATED
DAMAGE OBSERVEDC AT A RESIDENCE 3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF JONESVILLE
ALONG JONESVILLE HIGHWAY. AT THIS LOCATION...20-30 PINES AND CEDARS
WERE UPROOTED AND/OR SNAPPED. A HOUSE EXPERIENCED MINOR ROOF DAMAGE
FROM FLYING DEBRIS AND SHINGLE LOSS. A 3 TON TRAILER WAS PICKED 
UP AND BLOWN 100 FEET.

AT THE MILLIKEN PLANT OFF BOB LITTLE ROAD...CONSIDERABLE ROOF DAMAGE
WAS OBSERVED WITH SEVERAL TREES UPROOTED/SNAPPED AND SEVERAL TRAILERS
OVERTURNED. THE DAMAGE PATH CULMINATED ABOUT 3.5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
JONESVILLE AT THE SCALES MOBILE HOME PARK WHERE 2 MOBILE HOMES WERE
DAMAGED AND A FEW TREES WERE UPROOTED AND/OR SNAPPED.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THEIR GRATITUDE TO
THE UNION COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND THE JONESVILLE FIRE
DEPARTMENT FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE IN THIS DAMAGE SURVEY.
