Snowbands developed from Virginia to Maine over the next 3 days. The heaviest snow fell over New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts (Figure 3). Snowfall totals ranged from 20-60 inches. Portions of southwest New Hampshire received 30-40 inches with snowfall amounts quickly tapered off over Maine. The highest amounts accumulated over eastern
New York where over 50 inches fell.
