SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRECEDE A COLD FRONT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY AND USHER COOLER AIR INTO THE CAROLINAS OVER THE WEEKEND.
