The National Weather Service has partnered with other national, public, and private
organizations in the community to develop and implement a RIP Current Awareness Strategies Team.
Our mission is to develop and deliver a multi-agency outreach program
targeting elementary and secondary students, local residents, and the tourist population. Our vision is
to eliminate rip current fatalities along area beaches.
