Northern Kentucky continues to be plagued with
much-below average rainfall for most of 2007. Currently, the
U.S. Drought
Monitor has classified almost all of northern Kentucky as D3, or
extreme drought. Further south, conditions worsen to D4, or
exceptional drought.
