Widespread rain in early January 2005
combined with snowmelt from a previous major winter storm and resulted
in widespread flooding across much of western Ohio. This caused
the Great Miami River at Sidney to peak at 14.16 feet on January 6,
resulting in
minor flooding. As seen here, Custenborder field is one of
the first locations in Sidney to be impacted with the Great Miami River
floods.
