Additional notes
This photo shows typical minor urban flooding
which is covered by a flood advisory. Generally this type of
flooding will result in standing water over local streets and other
"nuisance" flooding, especially in urban areas.

Safety Note: A flood advisory is issued when flooding is expected to
cause an inconvenience, but is not expected to be life-threatening.
However, even minor flooding can be dangerous to children near storm
drains. Even if the water appear to be still, hidden storm drains
may cause a child to be dragged under.
