Radar reflectivity image shows severe thunderstorm over Franklin County Ohio.
24 hour radar precipitation estimate shows over 6 inches of rain to the east of Wilmington.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL OHIO

* UNTIL 715 PM EDT

* AT 621 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE HAIL AND WINDS
  TO 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR LAKE DARBY...MOVING EAST AT
  25 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  UPPER ARLINGTON...
  GROVE CITY...
  COLUMBUS...
  BEXLEY...
  GAHANNA...
  GROVEPORT...
  REYNOLDSBURG...
  CANAL WINCHESTER...

IN ADDITION...NEW ROME...LINCOLN VILLAGE...VALLEYVIEW...MARBLE
CLIFF...URBANCREST...GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS...OBETZ AND WHITEHALL ARE NEAR
THE PATH OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.

BE DEEPER THAN IT APPEARS.

* FLOOD WARNING FOR 
  THE OHIO BRUSH CREEK ABOVE WEST UNION
* FOR EARLY THIS MORNING.
* AT 5 AM THE STAGE WAS...12.9 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 15 FEET.
* THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY 8 AM THIS MORNING
  AND WILL CREST AROUND 15.3 FEET. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD 
  STAGE LATER THIS MORNING.
* AT STAGES NEAR 15.0 FEET, MAINLY FLOODING OF LOW LAND AREAS OCCURS 
  IN ADAMS COUNTY NEAR OHIO BRUSH CREEK.

...DAMAGE SURVEY CONDUCTED IN FAYETTE COUNTY OHIO...

THE WILMINGTON NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE CONDUCTED A
STORM DAMAGE SURVEY IN FAYETTE COUNTY OHIO TODAY. THE DAMAGE WAS A
RESULT OF STORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY EVENING...
OCTOBER 4. DAMAGE OCCURRED AT A LOCATION ABOUT 3 AND 1/2 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF JEFFERSONVILLE AT ABOUT 540 PM TO 545 PM EDT YESTERDAY.
THE DAMAGE INCLUDED A ROOF RIPPED OFF A MOBILE HOME AND MORE MINOR
DAMAGE TO A NUMBER OF OTHER MOBILE HOMES. TREES WERE DOWNED OR
DAMAGED IN THE AREA AS WELL. THE SURVEY...COMBINED WITH RADAR
INFORMATION...INDICATES THAT THE STORM PRODUCED A DOWNBURST. THIS
DOWNBURST CAUSED THE DAMAGE. THE WINDS WITH THE STORM WERE ESTIMATED
TO BE AROUND 70 MPH.
