A line of thunderstorms developed across the Miami and Whitewater valley regions during the late afternoon of June 2, 2010. These storms intensified as they moved southeast through the Dayton and Cincinnati metro areas, before pushing further into the Columbus area and Scioto valley. Numerous reports of severe weather were received. Damaging wind was the primary threat, but some flooding and hail also occurred.
