A cold front and associated strong upper level disturbance triggered severe
thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening of September 16, 2010. The
storms initiated in central Ohio during the mid afternoon, and moved toward
southeast Ohio by late afternoon. Reports of large hail, strong winds and
tornadoes were received.
