THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO 5.4 MILES NORTH OF BLOOMINGBURG IN FAYETTE COUNTY OHIO ON MAY
26 2011.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF YATESVILLE-WISSLER
RD... APRROXIMATELY 0.9 MILES WEST OF DANVILLE ROAD. THE FLAT
METAL ROOF OF A SMALL BARN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE CIRCULATION WAS
PEELED BACK TOWARD THE WEST... AND STREWN FOR ABOUT 100 YARDS. THE
TORNADO THEN LIFTED BRIEFLY BEFORE TOUCHING DOWN IMMEDIATELY
SOUTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF YATESVILLE-WISSLER RD AND
DANVILLE RD. A 20X20 FOOT SECTION OF ROOFING WAS REMOVED FROM A
BARN AT THIS LOCATION ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE CIRCULATION... WHICH
WAS ABOUT A QUARTER OF THE BARN ROOF. THIS DEBRIS WAS STREWN ABOUT
100 YARDS TO THE EAST. A LARGE TREE IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THIS SAME
INTERSECTION WAS ALSO DOWNED TOWARD THE EAST-SOUTHEAST. THE BASE
OF THIS TREE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5 FEET IN DIAMETER. THE OVERALL
WIND FLOW AT THE SURFACE OUTSIDE OF THIS TORNADO WAS FROM THE
WEST-SOUTHWEST TO THE EAST-NORTHEAST.
