...SUMMARY...

A TEAM FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CONDUCTED A GROUND SURVEY OF 
DAMAGE NEAR LANDOVER MARYLAND. BASED ON THIS SURVEY ALONG WITH RADAR 
DATA THE TEAM DETERMINED THAT A WEAK EF-0 TORNADO OCCURRED NEAR 
LANDOVER MARYLAND.

A SHORT NARROW DAMAGE PATH WAS ENCOUNTERED BETWEEN MEADOWHILL ROAD AND 
FORBES BLVD...CONSISTING OF SPOTTY TREE DAMAGE...CONSISTING MAINLY OF 
A FEW TREES UPROOTED AND SEVERAL LARGE LIMBS SNAPPED. THE DEBRIS FIELD 
HERE EXHIBITED EVIDENCE OF CYCLONIC CURVATURE CONSISTENT WITH A WEAK 
EF-0 TORNADO.
