Starting Up Your Receiver

* Take Weather Radio out of the box

* Plug AC Power Adapter into a power outlet. Plug AC Power Adapter into DC Jack on back of the radio

*You should also add 3 AA batteries in case of power failure. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries

...AC Power Adapter is plugged into the DC Jack...

* Position the antenna vertical and extend to its full length above the radio. The antenna is located on the back of the radio. If reception is poor, try moving the radio to another location in the room.

Volume Adjustments:

- Be sure the "WEATHER RADIO" switch on the right side is set to "ON"
- Press "Weather/Snooze"
- Press ^ or v to adjust the volume
