Skywarn®
Training Classes
People are required to pre-register for all classes.
This is necessary to control class size, as there is limited space.
If you register for a class and can not make it, please notify us
so we can make your spot available. All training classes and Skywarn®
membership are free. Registration procedures are listed below.
On-line national SKYWARN® courses are offered additonally...
...on the MetED site (located here).
These courses are also free, and can be of extra value to you with
severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. However,
because vital local information is missing, you will not be registered
with us as a spotter until you take our Basics I SKYWARN® class
taught by one of our meteorologists.
