Tour Policy
Tour Request Form (PDF)

Strict new guidelines are in place for
tours of government offices in response to the events of September 11th.
Here is a list of our local office tour policies, including the new
government tour regulations. Please review these rules prior to
submitting a request for an office tour to make sure your group is
eligible to participate.
1. Tours will be made by appointment only.
Appointments for tours should generally be made at least 6 to 8 weeks in
advance or longer. Please provide a list of dates and times when the
group would like the tour. The more flexible a group is with
dates and times, the more likely we will be able to accommodate a request.
Tours will be scheduled between the hours of 10am to 1pm Monday through
Friday. A few tours can be scheduled during the evening hours, between
5pm and 7pm. It usually takes about 10 to 14 days to fill a tour request.
2. Tours will be conducted on "fair"
weather days only. If winter weather, severe weather, or flooding is
expected on the day of a scheduled tour, the tour will be cancelled and/or
rescheduled.
3. Groups of no more than
TWENTY (20) people will be accepted for a tour. NO LARGER GROUPS CAN
BE ACCOMMODATED. Any group larger than 20 persons MUST be scheduled in
separate tours. (The tours can be scheduled on the same day.)
4. A list of all tour participants must
be provided via fax, email, or snail mail at least TWO WEEKS prior to the
tour. The list must include the first and last name of each participant.
In addition, this document must include a contact name and number for the organization
requesting the tour. A photo i.d. (for adults) WILL BE REQUIRED for admittance
to the WFO facility.
5. There will be at least ONE adult chaperone
for each six to eight students/scouts visiting the facility. Tours will be
geared towards students that are in the 6th grade or higher.
6. You must be a United States citizen.
