Strict new guidelines are in place for tours of government offices in reponse to the events of September 11, 2001. Here are the tour policies for the National Weather Service.s Baltimore/Washington Forecast Office. Please review these rules to make sure your group is eligible prior to submitting a tour request.

1. Tours are for adults & children aged 12 and higher.
   
   
   • At least 1 adult chaperone is required for each 10 children.
   
   
   
2. Tours are by appointment only, and must be made at least 1 month in advance.
   
   
3. Groups of 40 or less, however groups of 20+ will be broken into two.
   
   
4. Everyone must be a U.S. citizen.
   
   
5. A photo ID (for adults) is required.
