Graphical Hazardous Weather Outlook

The graphical hazardous weather page is a depiction of the degree to which a particular hazard is expected to affect the local forecast area in the upcoming day. Each category is broken down into low, moderate and high levels, which reflect the expected impact on daily activities. A more detailed explanation of each hazard level is contained within each individual hazard page, which is accessible by clicking on the desired graphic below. The hazards use the following color table:

Outlooks for the day

The Local Weather Threats graphics are generally VALID FOR A 24 HOUR PERIOD from the time of issuance. The graphics will be issued daily between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., and remain valid until 8 a.m. the next day. Afternoon updates will be posted as time permits. As the weather threat increases throughout the day, or becomes imminent, Watches and Warnings will be issued as appropriate. The highest possible threat for the day will be highlighted for each county. On some maps multiple threats may be represented.
