Our Instruments

In order to better analyze the meteorological environment around us, we maintain a variety of instruments to measure atmospheric conditions. We can measure everything from the upper levels of the atmosphere to the conditions here on the ground. Our instruments range in complexity from our multi-million dollar doppler radar system, to a simple thermometer.

Pictured below are many of our atmospheric measuring devices. For a closer view and more information on how we use the instruments click on one of the images. Note: Make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled.
