The other approach is to use a “conditional” simulation where the current model states are set and a one-year simulation is run. After this, the model states are returned to the current conditions and a second simulation is run. This process is repeated until and each simulation has been run, all of which start with the some model states.
As shown in the graphics, the start conditions are set, then model is allowed to run for one year. The result is a set of hydrographs, each for a particular year all starting from the same current conditions.
