| Low pressure over the Ohio Valley this evening races eastward tonight and passes to the north east of the tri-state area on Thursday. The trailing cold front will pass through Thursday morning. Weak high pressure briefly follows for Thursday afternoon and evening before a much stronger area of low pressure approaches from the west Friday. This low passes to our north Friday night and northeast Saturday, bringing its associated cold front through the region Friday evening, and an associated trough of low pressure on Saturday. High pressure then builds in from the west Saturday night and Sunday, then retreats to the northeast Sunday night. A cold front approaches from the west on Monday, then crosses the tri-state Monday night. High pressure then builds in to our north through the middle of next week, with a storm system likely approaching by late next Wednesday. See Full Discussion |
