...SUMMARY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS CONFIRMED WIND 
DAMAGE CONSISTENT WITH A WEAK EF-0 TORNADO IN CHESTER CITY  
LOCATED IN DELAWARE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA ON AUGUST 22 2010.

EVIDENCE OF A WEAK EF-0 TORNADO FIRST MANIFESTED ITSELF WITH TREE 
DAMAGE AND A BLOWN-OUT GARAGE WALL NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF 4TH AND 
ENGLE STREETS IN CHESTER CITY. A NEARLY CONTINUOUS PATH OF TREE 
DAMAGE THEN OCCURRED IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION TO THE 2000 BLOCK OF 
THIRD STREET WHERE SEVERAL TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN AND STRUCTURAL 
DAMAGE OCCURRED TO A BUILDING AND ITS ROOF. ADDITIONAL DAMAGE 
OCCURRED IN A CONTINUOUS PATH TO THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 291 AND 
REANEY STREET WHERE A HOUSE INCURRED SIDING AND ROOF DAMAGE. THE 
TORNADO THEN LIFTED AS IT APPROACHED THE COMMODORE BARRY BRIDGE 
WHERE PLANKS WERE RIPPED OFF THE NEW I-95 RAMP BEING CONSTRUCTED
THERE.

CHESTER CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT IN ARRANGING AND ASSISTING IN THIS SURVEY.
