AT 155 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER
FORT BRAGG AND THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF FAYETTEVILLE...MOVING EAST AT
25 MPH. THIS STORM EXTENDED INTO SOUTHERN HARNETT COUNTY AROUND
LINDEN AND ERWIN. OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED ACROSS
NORTHERN SAMPSON AND SOUTHERN JOHNSTON COUNTIES... FROM NEAR
SALEMBURG TO NEWTON GROVE.

GUSTY WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH...SMALL HAIL AND DANGEROUS
CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

VERY HEAVY RAIN WITH LOCAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES DURING
THE NEXT HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED IN THESE AREAS. MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE
WITH CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING. MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AREAS...CREEKS...STREAMS AND SOME ROADS CAN BE EXPECTED.
