Storm Data

These reports (in PDF format) are summaries of severe and unusual weather in NWS Charleston's 49 county area of responsibility. They offer tables and narrative descriptions of severe storm observation and effects. These are generally available 2 to 3 months after the month in question. Remember that this information cannot be used for official purposes, such as court cases. For official, certified severe weather observations, refer to the Storm Data publication prepared by the National Climatic Data Center.
