SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC
REGION THROUGH SUNDAY...PUSHING A BACKDOOR COLD FRONT SOUTHWESTWARD
THROUGH THE REGION. BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON...THIS FRONT WILL BE LOCATED
ACROSS THE EASTERN TENNESSEE VALLEY AND SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS INTO 
THE SOUTHEAST STATES. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ACCOMPANY THE
FRONT AGAIN TODAY WITH WARM...VERY HUMID CONDITIONS CONTINUING. BY
SUNDAY...ANY THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE CONFINED TO FAR SOUTHWEST
VIRGINIA...WITH SPOTTY LIGHT RAIN AND/OR DRIZZLE IN EASTERN AREAS.
AS HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD SOUTHWESTWARD THROUGH EARLY
NEXT WEEK...DRIER...SEASONABLY COOL AIR WILL SPREAD INTO THE REGION
FROM THE NORTHEAST RESULTING IN AN END TO THE DAILY SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES THROUGH MUCH OF NEXT WEEK UNTIL A COLD FRONT
APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST LATE IN THE WEEK.
