HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN ANCHORED ACROSS THE NORTHEAST U.S. 
THROUGH THE WEEKEND WHILE DEEP LOW PRESSURE SLIDES EAST AND
OFFSHORE THE GEORGIA COAST ON SATURDAY. THIS WEATHER SYSTEM
WILL BRING AN INCREASINGLY MOIST EASTERLY FLOW TO THE REGION 
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY. EXTENSIVE CLOUD COVER IS EXPECTED
THROUGH SATURDAY WITH LIGHT RAIN SPREADING INTO SOUTHERN 
VIRGINIA AND NORTH CAROLINA LATE THIS EVENING...CONTINUING 
INTO SATURDAY. AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST OF THE
REGION SUNDAY...HIGH PRESSURE WILL RETURN WITH DRIER 
CONDITIONS...WHICH SHOULD LAST INTO MONDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL 
BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND PERHAPS EVEN SOME THUNDERSTORMS
TO THE REGION TUESDAY.

WITH RESPECT TO PRESCRIBED BURNS...CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO BE
LESS THAN IDEAL THROUGH SATURDAY WITH INCREASING LOW-LEVEL 
MOISTURE...CHANCES FOR RAIN GENERALLY SOUTH OF U.S. 460...AND
EAST TO NORTHEAST FLOW. IMPROVED CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY
AND MONDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE...SUNSHINE...AND DRIER CONDITIONS
RETURN TO THE AREA. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE NOT
EXPECTED INTO NEXT WEEK AT THIS TIME.
