NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BLACKSBURG VA
403 AM EDT WED SEP 17 2014

.DISCUSSION...

A WEAK WEDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE OVER THE AREA TODAY
KEEPING MOIST CONDITIONS IN PLACE THROUGH TONIGHT. THE WEDGE
SHOULD WEAKEN ON THURSDAY BEFORE HIGH PRESSURE WELL TO THE
NORTH STRENGTHENS FRIDAY AND RIDGES SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION
FROM OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST INTO THE WEEKEND. THIS SHOULD
MAINTAIN OVERALL DRY WEATHER FOR WEEKS END BEFORE THE NEXT COLD
FRONT ARRIVES WITH ANOTHER CHANCE OF SHOWERS FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
