FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SW VA...SE WV AND NW NC
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BLACKSBURG VA
738 AM EDT SUN AUG 30 2015

.DISCUSSION...
SPOTTY SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE
MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS UPPER LEVEL TROUGHING WEST
OF THE APPALACHIANS ALLOWS A SERIES OF WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES
TO DRIFT TOWARD THE AREA. SPOTTY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE AROUND A
TENTH OR TWO OF AN INCH WHERE RAINFALL DOES OCCUR. OTHERWISE...EXPECT
MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES UNDER LIGHT SOUTH SOUTHEASTERLY SURFACE WINDS
THROUGH THE DAY.
