FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SW VA...SE WV AND NW NC
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BLACKSBURG VA
345 PM EDT SUN AUG 31 2014

.DISCUSSION...
SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL MAINTAIN WARM AND MUGGY CONDITIONS THROUGH
MUCH OF THIS WEEK. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL LIMIT INSTABILITY ON
MONDAY...KEEPING SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MORE ISOLATED TO
WIDELY SCATTERED. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE PASSING ACROSS THE REGION
ON TUESDAY WILL RESULT IN MORE WIDESPREAD WETTING RAINFALL. WINDS WILL
REMAIN LIGHT...AND AFTERNOON RH VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE
40 PERCENT MOST LOCATIONS THROUGH MIDWEEK.
